Accident closes 33 west of Rockford

A westbound semi-truck overturned on U.S. 33 about five miles west of Rockford, closing the road to all traffic.
The accident occured a little before 1 p.m. Monday when a the truck apparently went off the right side of the road just west of Jordan Road and the driver overcorrected before the truck rolled onto its right side.
No further details were available early Monday afternoon.
